Flipped

Felt my boat rock
til it flopped
over the calmly-treacherous river
breaking through the unseeable-believable woods
I drowned
til I heard that sound
That sound...that unmistakeable-unheard of sound
That beat...that rhytmn-free beat
that moved his feet
While his insignificant steps caressed the viable earth
I began dream
Of him and his piece...and how treacherously calming they both would be
caressing the very center of my uneven soul...
by means of my seeable-unbelievable woods -
down in the deep dark south in the middle of nowhere.
